This December, Showtime will kick off Hip Hop 50, with the release of the documentaries Video Music Box (w/t), Ricky Powell: The Individualist and Rolling Like Thunder beginning Friday, December 3. Hip Hop 50 is a multiyear, cross-platform programming initiative between Showtime and entertainment company, Mass Appeal , celebrating the 50 th anniversary of Hip Hop.
